We don't argue on CFCDev. It's much more friendlier than CF-Talk :-)

you most productive (and is reliable) is the best! 

Agree that OO and particularly MVC are good things to adopt, but sometimes 
people adopt patterns without realising it, so if you choose a pattern because 
you understand it is (IMHO) better than using a pattern just because you have 
to.

As for lexicons, I'm not a fan and tend to avoid them by putting as much logic 
as I can into cfml. All of my recent apps have been rewritten in the circuit as 
CFC style so I don't have that problem any more.
