I'ma relatively notice framework user so take my comments for what they are. I've written two applications using frameworks. The first being a FB 5.1 application and the latter being CB 2.6.1. It seems that everyone has an opinion on what standards matter most to them. For me... it's simply productivity and ease of maintenance. The XML circuits of FB 5.1 seem verbose and unnecessary to me. I found that I was most productive by including a CFM file with my controller/fuseaction logic in it. This made my controllers harder to follow.
Granted, the FB app was my first attempt with a framework. There were some growing pains with learning it... and the patterns/methodologies I developed in FB made learning the basics CB easier. Every time I go to the docs for CB, I find some neat new feature that I hadn't read about. For the time being, I see no purpose to explore another framework. CB has strong community support, extensive documentation and a robust feature set. Jason On Oct 20, 2008 9:25am, Alan Livie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > We don't argue on CFCDev. All of my recent apps have been rewritten in the circuit as CFC style so I don't have that problem any more. > > > > > > > > > > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
