You're right. An exe file would be nice. But most applications that come as
exe files still have to be installed. In the old DOS days you could stick a
diskette containing an exe file in the drive, type its name and it runs. Now
the registry needs to be updated and it's stuck where you install it. I want
an exe file that just runs as is.
