While I do agree with Alvaro that it's dangerous to change the config file 
automatically, I think Ray understands why it's not being done by a script. 
But he does rises a good point, the installation process should warn the user 
that the module is deprecated and should print a small note or warning on how 
to fix it. 

This warning wouldn't drain resources but will help a lot for those users with 
the mirror module enabled.
