Just for kicks I got a quote from Hagerty. my quote on a 1965 chevelle malibu super Sport modified figuring a value of $25000.00 (the figure is what I believe I will have into car) was $395.00.i used the factor stock and came up with $195.00.
Mine was $174 on the value basis of $8500 (modified) as the car sits. When it becomes the second car for me I'll probably go with this company. They are the lowest I've seen. Of course, by then the car will be worth over $10k, but the rates are still the best I've seen.

www.hannawoodworks.comI insured my camero for $15,000 and the chevelle for $19900. The chevelle is worth maybe 25000 but you have to have an independent apraiser for any thing over 20,000 so I opted for not messing with that. The yearly total premium for the two cars is $294.50.
