I am only 18 and still on my parents insurance but I had my 66 apraised at $16,500 I have it insured through Allstate and when i asked my agent whay would happen in a total loss he told me they would cut a check for the appraised ammount if I showed them the offical appraisal. I dont know how others work or if i would ever get a check for the full ammount but the appraisal is deffinatly a good idea. Super Chevy had an artical on how to get an appraisal, it was about a year ago. So for those of you with catalouged issues take a look. Sean 66 Chevelle >From: "Kelly C.
