I can't even give a good guess on gas mileage differences between points and electronic ignition as I ran an Accel dual-point with my Edelbrock/Holley setup.  With the injection I needed a computer controlled ignition and the MSD was offered with the injection so I jumped on it.   I'm sure some others here though have had the opportunity to compare mileage.
