What do you replace your fuses with a hammer? you can
buy a plastic fuse puller for under a buck, just hooks
on the middle of fuse and pulls out, and I doubt you
could buy the correct connectors for your home made
harness anyway,one you can't find them, and Two the
companys that make harnesses wont sell them to you.
making your own is a good idea until you get down to
doing it, I have never tryed myself, but have seen the
results of a couple of different guys who tryed to
replacate a factory harness,end results pretty much
sucked! once you try to CORRECTLY make one, you will
see why they cost so much, but I can  bet when you get
done you sure won't win any " originality awards" but
good luck in your endevors.
