Years ago when I was at a car show it dawned on me what a jerk I
was about certain cars being displayed. The particular car that I had been
looking at was a GM car from the 60's that I really thought was a POS.
While I was standing there thinking about the car I heard the owner talking to
another guy. He was talking about all the hard work he had done and how on his
limited income he had struggled for years trying to make his car presentable. It
then dawned on me not everyone can put thousands of dollars into a car.( I still
feel the only Chevelle ever made was the 1965 but that is my problem< JK>)
>From that day on I have had a completely different attitude about Queens vs
Drivers vs unrestored cars vs ugly cars vs unpopular cars vs
etc. .Just because I don't like a certain car doesn't mean that its not a
nice car .I know many think its horrible to take a nice car and put late model
running gear or make a race car out of a numbers matching. Bottom line ?
If it's your car, Do what ya want to do . If its someone else's car respect
them for what they have done not what you think should have been done.
