Larry, You could have extended your drive and picked it up while you were almost close!  I have a 3858403 (which just happens to be a prime number!?!) bellhousing that will work as long as you stick with the small clutch.  In fact, that is why I have the extra.  I plan on using the 11" clutch for my Corvette, and the old bellhousing will not fit the big clutch. I have some pictures I took of it when I pulled it so others can see what it is like.  It has two very tiny cracks, but still "rings" nicely.  You can only see the cracks in the close-up pictures, but in the full view, one is in the green area at the left, and the other is just to the left of the left hole on the bottom. http://epage.com/brad/Corvette/bellhousing/ I'm sure we can work something out if you want it, but you may also be able to find one locally, or one without even a tiny crack as they are more common than the big ones that I needed (and spent $100 for).  I can touch up the paint if you need it! I will run that for a bit, and hope to upgrade to a 5 speed tranny once the car is on the road...   I still need to pick up a clutch setup and a bell housing. I plan to buy the clutch parts new. What's your thoughts on used bell housings? Also, if I have to but one anyways, should I just consider a scatter shield instead?   And finally, anybody on the list have any for sale?   Thanks, Larry
