Just installed 2" dropped spindles on my '71 SB Malibu and have 1 1/4" rear lowering springs ordered. The car looks and handles a lot better already. (also had the power steering pump and steering box rebuilt).
But..the ceramic Hooker Super Comp flange is 3 1/2 inches from the ground and have scrubbed it twice this week.
Really like the QP1200 Sanderson Ceramic Silver Coated Cast Manifolds. http://www.sandersonheaders.com/pagesbypartnum/qp1200.htm
A search on the archives and tech section indicated they were ok but pricey. A restored cruiser/occasional driver, no racing. Plans call for a 383 sometime in the future.
Wanted to get some response on the cast mainfolds.
Thanks, Denny
