I agree with everyone else re the need for rehydration. Use a syringe 
if neccesary. Also, it might be an idea to rub the gums with a tiny bit 
of honey or jam if you have no honey. It's usually just enough to keep 
Hypoglycemia at bay. Having had a chi who had diabetes but still lived 
to age 14 I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to Hypoglycemia so my two 
new pups get a tiny amount of honey first thing in the morning after 
they've had a night of about 10 hours without food. I know it's not 
strictly neccesary but to be honest it makes ME feel better.
Also to be honest I'd have gone to a different vet and asked for a shot 
if he wasn't keeping the anti biotic down.

How is he now?

Re  pedialite we don't have this in the UK but it sounds really handy 
to have in. Do any English members know of a UK equivalent?
