Has anybody heard of Maple Syrup as that was what this Vet told me to use? I
tried the Honey but he wouldn't have anything to do with it.
I realize keeping him from getting dehydrated and having Hypoglcemia is an
absoulute I wonder when he will be able to eat and keep food down as he is
sooooooooooo very very hunger, at this point.

I agree with everyone else re the need for rehydration. Use a syringe
if neccesary. Also, it might be an idea to rub the gums with a tiny bit
of honey or jam if you have no honey. It's usually just enough to keep
Hypoglycemia at bay. Having had a chi who had diabetes but still lived
to age 14 I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to Hypoglycemia so my two
new pups get a tiny amount of honey first thing in the morning after
they've had a night of about 10 hours without food. I know it's not
strictly neccesary but to be honest it makes ME feel better.
Also to be honest I'd have gone to a different vet and asked for a shot
if he wasn't keeping the anti biotic down.

How is he now?

Re pedialite we don't have this in the UK but it sounds really handy
to have in. Do any English members know of a UK equivalent?
