Some say remove others say don't remove. All dogs I have had before were poodles and they always had their dew claws removed (shortly after birth). I just worry because I've heard him yelp when he's gotten the dew claws caught in his blanket, finally got him another kind of blanket. He also has gotten them caught in the mesh of his carry bag.
