Oroe my chi/jack russell mix reverse sneezes mostly when his allergies act up. But he also does it when he gets excited or eats too fast or for no reason at all. The vet told me to keep some Vicks Salve and to put a very little on the tip of his nose if he has a bad case of them. It seems to work the few times I've had to do that. I was worried that Jaelyn was getting sick or had hurt her throat so I asked about it when I took her in for her last shots and they told me that's what it was. I've read recently that they can get it when they're out of breath and because of something else too, but they didn't mention that eating too fast they can get it, which Jaelyn wolfs her food down and almost always gets the reverse sneeze as a result.
