I am no expert but it sounds like "reverse sneezing" or it's also called collapsed trachea. Usually nothing to worry about at all and very common in Chis. They usually do it when excited or if they bump their throats lightly on something. My Gizmo does it sometimes. When he does, I just comfort him and pet him slowly until he calms down a little. Ask your vet, just in case, but I think that's what it is with little Chico. Stefanie
