Usually reverse sneezing can be temporarily halted when you distract the dog. Think of it as yourself trying to sneeze and somebody distracts you, you can't get the sneeze out but your nose still tickles. I think you should talk to your vet about it though. How can you tell the difference? Sheila ================================= I'm not 100% positive, but isn't collapsed trachea different from reverse sneezing? It's my understanding that both are common among small dogs, but collapsed trachea (which has another name) can sometimes need to be surgically corrected, usually when they are older.
