I wonder also how cold is too cold 'cuz my Cooper won't put one foot outside when I open the door and he feels the cold air.
Granted, he hasn't experienced much cold air (as far as I know), but when I open the sliding glass door and there's a distinct temperature difference, he backs away. We have some really cold weather right now for us. There might even be a frost warning tonight... Don't laugh. I know we're spoiled, but I pay the price for it. So when I'm certain he has to "go", I kinda nudge him out or pick him up and put him out. (I feel so bad) Once he's out, he hops down the four steps, his back end almost falling over his front end, then he chooses his spots - one for #1 and another for #2. So all you snow dog parents, how do you do it?
