I tried a hoodie on Emiliano today and he didn't like it at all, He bucked
and rubbed the side of his head against the floor. I took it off and will
return the (fake) fur trimmed hoodie.

Here is vegas the temps are dipping in the low 30's at evening and night.
I put a sweatshirt/hoodie on Ricky and go. If its windy out, he does not
like it at all... kinda crouches down and then sits down... turns and heads
for home. If its not windy, he seems to be ok with going out doing the duty
and then getting back inside! I do have potty pads on my patio that he will
use. so we may resort to those when its cold.

I think the most important part to keep warm on a chi is the chest and
round the back, neck also. The sweatshirt hoodies work well for Ricky.

He needs some leg warmers!!! little tiny ones!

I would think you would know if it was too cold. Good for your Gigi for
being an adventure pup. Frida HATES the cold

My little Gigi just loves to go for walks, she worse then my Eskie,
Princess, with wanting to go out. The temps have dropped to the 40's and I was
wondering if I put a sweater and a coat on her would that be enough to
prevent her from getting chilled? She has been inside for two weeks because
of
the cold and or rainy weather. I am concerned that she may catch a cold.
With Princess, I only put a coat on her once the temps reach freezing or
below, even then she does not like it.

So how cold is too cold for a Chi to be outside, even for a short 15
minute walk? And how much do you have to bundle them up?
