Hi everyone, I took Smidgen too the new vet, He did blood work on her and I
have to call today on my lunch for results. He didn't do a x-ray, he listen to
her chest and he said, he didn't hear any fluid in her lungs. He was very good
and talked about what each medication is doing, good and bad. He took her off
one of the meds, and after we get her results back, he may have her lower on of
the dose's. He also put her on the load sodium diet too. So I should know more
later... I did like this vet, so we shall see.. More later. I didn't get up yet
to see if I can get Smidgens records from old vet..

The records actually belong to you.
Please check first to see if it is the same as for human doctors.  If you ask
for copies of the records, they may charge you; professional courtesy usually
provides that your old vet will send the new vet the records for no charge.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Changing Vets

Hi everyone, I know you all know I have been having to take Smidgen to the vets
re: her heart problems. I have decided to change my vet that I have been using
for last 9 years. They have recently re model the office and it seems clients
are paying for it.. The prices have gone through the roof! My situation is I
want to take Smidge to another vet, so will my old vet give me all my records
of the dogs?
Beth
