Hi, My name is Shelley and my husband just got me a Chihuahua for Christmas.
His name is Gimli and he is 8 weeks old and weighs 1.75 pounds. I have had big
dogs and don't feel confident about if I am raising Gimli correctly. I don't
know how much to feed him. If I let him eat as long as he wants, his stomach
gets really fat. He has been eating about 3 times a day. He is doing well with
potty training, but he has to go about every hour or he has an accident. I also
just ordered one of those crates that you can divide to the potty side and
sleep side. Also, when do I start shots and do I need to tell the vet to do
them differently than a bigger dog? I am in need of lots of advice! thanks!
