For every month of age...they can hold it for one hour. So...8 weeks...equals one hour of holding time. Good idea to crate train him. Do not vaccinate your puppy until he is at least 12-16 weeks old!! Only do the CORE vaccines. He is really young....I would have kept him with mama for at least 2-4 more weeks.
