Congratulations, would love to see a photo of Gimli. Sounds as if you're
on the right track with training, yes, these little ones need to go more
often, especially as babies. Three meals a day at his age is right, but only
give him a tiny bit each time. Maybe as few as ten small dry kibbles per
feeding. It sounds like too little but remember the kibble will expand in
the tummy. The crate that you mention, is it really a crate or an x pen? I
am a real fan of x pens. They too can be divided into sleep and pottie
area but being larger than a crate, it give them more space and becomes a safe
place to be when you can't be watching them or when visitors or workers
come that may not watch where they are stepping or who are strangers that
will stress out the baby. Although controlled socialization is good. As for
the shots, some people don't like to have the vet give more than one
injection at a time, me, I just asked questions and if the vet sounded
confident
about treating small puppies, I just went along with what he suggested. Its
up to you. Good luck I am Gloria and I live in central Texas with
Emiliano, my 3 year old, long coat.
