For Prime Collaboration Deployment, you need the full VMWare ESXi Standard license or to be running off the trial. The free ESXi license doesn't work for PCD.
Cisco now has an add-on license (*Cisco UC Virtualization Foundation*) that gives you this functionality for cheaper than a full ESXi Standard License.
