Hi Sarah,
My vet, who is very advanced told me that the scanners are now standardized
to read all chips....my dogs did not even flinch when he did their microchips.
I feel much better knowing they at least can be identified if lost. I do not
put collars on my dogs inside the house, only when they go outdoors of course.

Good luck! I am very confident in my vet, as he has won all kinds of awards
for his hospital, and is a friend besides. He won Veterinary Economics
Practice of Excellence award and a vet from there is available 24 hours a day!
It is not cheap, but my love for my Cavaliers can never have a price put
on it! I agree with the quote from Wharton: my dogs are my heartbeat.
I am becoming more attached as time goes by.....I love them with all my
heart.

Hope this helps.,

Maureen Kopper
