Hmmmmm....I have sat by quietly and watched this thread grow. I have
really not wanted to step in as I think that it is sometimes our
differences that make us grow, however, PETA has always been a bad topic on
this list and many others, in fact, I know that on a few lists it is a
subject that is banned. In the past, Cindy has always cut this thread
short, but I decided to let it play it's way thru...perhaps not a good
decision.
I am sure that collectively as a group, we all want basically the same
thing for our breed, and the fanaticism of PETA surely is not one of them.
If we can't as a group be supportive of each other and our longterm goals
for this breed, then I fear greatly for this breed. Peggy had only sent a
post to the list that was of interest to anyone that is serious in the dog
world, and it truly only took a very short time for our list members to be
at each other's throats...what does that say for us as breeders, owners and
caretakers for this breed??
I am going to ask that if this thread about puppy mills and PETA is going
to continue, please lets do it without cutting each other down.
