I appreciate your last post. Personally, I don't believe the
present membership should be held responsible for what the past leadership
did. IF I had stud dogs (which I don't) I'd let anyone with an AKC
registered bitch (who qualified otherwise) use them. It wouldn't matter to
me if they were also registered in the cat fanciers federation if that is
what pleased them but I wouldn't register MY dogs in their organization
because I don't consider it a valid registry in the world. That would mean
their puppies wouldhave any father they chose but their puppies couldn't be
dual registered. The whole thing gets very complicated and I truly can't
help but wonder what motivates the people in that club to stay with it at
the same time they acknowledge AKC, show at its shows, and wish to use its
dogs. This, by the way, dpes not call for an answer - it is just my
musing........ and a thank you to you.
