Hi Annette

Perhaps as one who has done both I should answer. Breeding any animal and
being successful at it firstly you have to be aware of correct construction,
type and temperament. This helps develop your eye for a superior specimen
who is well balanced and correct. Riding horses very quickly helps ascertain
what is good balance and correct! otherwise it is a very bumpy ride VBG

Most dog terminology is cased in equine terms also, because in the 'ole'
days the stockmen were the breeders.

I know that it has been of immense help to me and many others from equine
backgrounds who diversified into a smaller hobby or passion.

I have never been able to understand what breeding and owning horses has got
to do with Cavaliers!
