I can't speak for Annette but I wonder why some keep telling us how well they did with horses over! and over! and over...just get on with the dogs please.
I have had horses..never bred them but studied and rode and studied and rode..and did well. I bought young stock..weanlings and trained them myself. etc etc I'm sure it helped developed my eye, helped to understand good animal husbandry etc. I also bred Himalayan cats under the Beach Haven prefix and again did well..finished/bred several CFA Grand Champions. But this is a Cavalier list..so couldn't we talk Cavaliers?
