Hi Liz,

Like you, I would give her the water that she needs. If she pees in her
crate then oh well....it is just one day in her life, but I would not
withold water from her or give her a dehydrating fluid.  I would put
something that would absorb liquid such as a thin layer of cardboard
underneath her bedding.  Most dogs will go an amazingly long time without
peeing when they are in their crates.
