Hi, Liz
I agree with Kim that I would use a padding under the pup; something
absorbant that can be changed is what I ususally use with vet bed on top
so that the wet soaks through and not soaks the pups. I also use ice
cubes as does Jo Ann. For one thing they keep the pup slow going and
for another they amuse the pups. Ours play ice hockey here. That
started when my ice maker on the fridge broke and getting one cube meant
getting many......they would spill on the wood floor and the pups and
older dogs soon learned how much fun it was that they could slide
fast................<G>
