I would put ice cubes in the container so she can lick the ice I get water
when she needs it.  Yes, I would quite a few layers of towels under her so
that if one gets wets they can be discarded as they get wet.  Maybe even
aduld stay dry pads may work like depends and other things made for
incontinence
