Hi, I usually use a syringe (the kind that you give human babies medicine in) once the puppy is strong enough not to have to be tubed and I have had good success with it. I have always used a homemade recipe with evaporated milk, karo syrup, gelatin, egg yolk and water with my pups that need supplementing and it has always been very well received. I also use this mixture to mix up pablum for the first solid feeds as well..it smells good and the pups usually lap it right up :)
