I'd certainly consult a Canine Opthamologist  regarding whether or not
treatment is required or breeding is advisable. In one case, laser surgery
was performed and "cauterized" the bleeding, which if left unchecked would
possibly have resulted in rupture of the eyeball. In this particular case
there was never any question she was a pet.  The only question, resolved
nicely, was could she be brought up to "healthy pet" status.
