I had to do some talking to get my vet to agree to do it but he will now. It doesn't make sense that she would do her own Maltese, who would be much smaller at the same age, and not a Cavalier. That was my vet's biggest complaint (size) but once we started comparing and he admitted to being comfortable with neutering a 6 mos. old Chihuahua, which is smaller than an 8 or 10 week old Cavalier, he agreed to do early neutering on my dogs.
