<< I'd be interested to hear (either privately or on the list) about experiences from those who are waiting; is it really that bad out there? >> I waited on a show list for a yearfor a tri, kept calling then was told they were going to build up their own breeding stock. Finally desperate bought a AKC blenheim well bred but not showable very open face and level to undershot bite depending on day of week, very healthy though all clearances in order. Thought I could breed this out and keep my show female. We are now at three years, a friend gave me another who grew up to be too large to show but again healthy grew both up to over two and voila all boy puppies.good bites but all boys.. Now I am sitting at around 5 yrs. and I am still waiting. Of course realize now to get wholecolors is harder without white when bred from Blenheim as well...If I ever do get my show girl she will be named Patience. I have outfits I bought to wear in the ring that have now gone out of style color coordinated for the Cavaliers that would clash with the yellow labs. I have spanned the 90's to the 2000's. I am getting good vibes that one will be coming soon.
