I am interested in whole colors & preference for what I am looking for is a black/tan male. I want dual enrollment so I could show in both CKCSC (for conformation) & AKC for obedience & other preformance events. It's only recently that I have been more committed to a search. I considered CKCS about 2 years ago & did do some searching but then stopped as it seemed like I wanted something impossible. Now I have started up again & my phone bill has gone way up as I have been communicating directly with different breeders. I am sending my application in for Associate Membership & was planning to go to Columbus this weekend. I forgot I had made a prior commitment to my local breed club however (to help with CGC classes) so the visit to Columbus is out. :( I'll just have to wait until another month when something is in the Midwest again. Can anyone tell me when that might be?
I went into this assuming it was going to take time but this time I will hang in there until it all comes together. Sometmes I think I could make things much easier by looking for a tri or blenehim but have decided to keep my heart & mind focused on what it is I am looking for. So yes it isn't easy out here for those of us without Cavaliers that have something specific in mind of what we are looking for.
