>Rosanne Yes, I have asthma. Much better now than many years ago, however. Long-haired cats, German shepherd dogs, or other "furry" dogs, give me major allergy attacks. I do not get allergy attacks from golden retrievers or Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. In fact, I can rub my nose in my Keno's fur with no reaction. I also had a Mini poodle many years ago that didn't bother my asthma either. I would certainly have the person come to your home or any home that has Cavaliers and have her get down and play with them, hold them, etc. She should find out first before she buys.
