Hi Roseann, I have a very asthmatic child. Actually 2 but against what the doctors told me I let me Kassi, one who doesn't have asthma get our first cavalier. My oldest son , now 13 was diagnosed when he was four and lived on steriods till he was 8, once we got Kingston he mysteriously did not have to be on medication at all and hasn't been since then. We now have three and they do go in his room but don't stay in , I clean alot as I am very compulsive about a clean house but vacuming helps the best and there he has had no problems.
