Hi there, As far as asthma and dogs well that depends on whether or not the person is allergic to dogs and that their reaction comes in the form of an asthma attack. I am allergic to cats among other things and my reactions range from runny nose, watery eyes to full blown, where did I put that dang inhaler asthma attacks. However, there are 2 breeds I can live with, Sphynx (has peach fuzz or hairless) and Devon Rex (poodle like hair). With dogs, if the person is allergic, they need to find out if they are allergic to a particular type of fur, hair or the dander. The best way to find out is to have them come over and hang out with the dogs and see what happens. Make sure they bring their inhaler.
