Thanks Suze. You always come through with ideas. I've been planning to attend the Atlanta CKCSC national, and now may only be able to go for Sunday (if at all). I hadn't planned to attend the ACKCSC national this year, but look for me there next year. I'm also planning to attend a local AKC show (to observe since Teddy isn't yet old enough to show) later this month where I'll get to meet some of the local cav-types face-to-face (I've met a few from this list but not in person yet). I figure eventually I'll know two people personally who are members of ACKCSC. I'm just an over-eager newbie who wants to get involved in everything cavalier as soon as I can (or even sooner!).
Applying for membership in ACKCSC just seems kind of backward to me: First you have to know people in order to join, but isn't *joining* a way to get to know people? How can I get to know people if I can't join until I know people? Seems a bit silly to someone who has no part in the history of the club split. Anyway, thanks Suze.
