Robin, I think that it has something to do with keeping the membership for serious breeders and fanciers. I know that many were unhappy with the pet owner voting patterns in the old club. Not because they didn't want one pet owner voting her convictions, but because it encouraged voting blocks similar to the minority voting blocks that we see in national politics. One person or group could control the votes of numerous members instead of one member/one vote. All the best, Susan Cochran
