I sincerely wish I could help more, Robin,
        I know what you mean about "how do you know people in order to join and
isn't joining for the purposes of knowing people".  It DOES seem
awkward.  I went through that with an all breed club for a
while......attended meetings and after all was said and done decided I
didn't want to join after all. LOL
        However, I think that you'll find a way to meet members of
ACKCSC.....the Atlanta specialty is a good venue to do that.  I find
that there are many very friendly members in the club who are more than
willing to help if they can so do.
