In my opinion, dual registry limits the gene pool. For example, I only
own AKC registered Cavaliers due to the bloodlines I wanted to
have and breed, and thus I am limited in the stud dogs I can breed
my girls to because of their registration. If the old club were to act
as a club, and not as a registry, then my choice of stud dogs would
be wider.

Just one example, take care, Jackie
