Thank all of you who sent me those super ideas that we presented one by
one to the gas company officials today. We met today with three supervisors
and all have agreed it will be in the best interest of the gas company to
move the meter to prevent any accidental loose gates left open by meter
readers -BUT- only at our expense.

Admittedly, it was fun to watch all three supervisors disagree with
eachother on how to move the meter. They all tried to read the meter
themselves to prove to us it could be read over the neighbors gate. All were
over six foot tall and needed a large cement block that as laying about to
stand on .

Apparently one line serves two houses . They have called another higher up
and the gas company planner to come out next Tuesday to get the final
details and approval down on paper. Because both houses are on one gas line
they want to actually lay in new line.

It looks like a possibility depending on what the next person decides and a
sure way to keep my cavaliers safe and protected in their own yard.
What the final bill is going to be is a guess for now.
