They could petition the AKC to reopen the registry to allow those few that
didn't jump on the bandwagon the first time (and those that bought puppies
from them) one last chance to register AKC.

Personally, Jackie, I think the best way to get back at someone who has done
you what you perceive to be an injustice, is to bowl them over with kindness.
 What better way than for the ACKCSC to say, "You may not have wanted us, but
not only were our stud books open to you once, but we'll be gracious enough
to try to get them reopened one more time!  :o)

I am not pro one Club and anti the other.  I serve on the BOD of my local AKC
affiliate Club and serve as COS Rescue Coordinator for CKCSC, USA.  I'm
simply ready for this silly petty crap to be over.  None of this bickering,
finger pointing, "who did what to who and when" mentality has no bearing on
anything or anyone except the few strong personalities involved on each side
of the Cavalier fence.  If the Boards of the respective Club's can't focus on
the best interest of the dogs, then that says a lot, don't you think?
