Yes, but Gerri...if the ruling were to be changed, and we were all allowed to breed to the dogs that benefited the breed and promoted the best for cavaliers, I'll bet you that most, if not all, of the original 12 would be right in there with the rest of us to plan good breedings, and try to work with everyone to protect the future of the dogs. No one is asking that the two clubs intermingle and socialize. We are all only asking that we be able to use each other's dogs as needed. That's the only part that matters. Drop the barriers between dual registered dogs, and AKC registered dogs, no matter who owns the dogs. Myra
