Precisely.  That's the problem as I see it.  Until we have our own
breeders only breeding fully tested dogs (who are at least 2�
with parents clear at 5) adding MORE untested dogs in unacceptable.

And I'm not just referring to MVD (although I consider that #1), but also hips, eyes, 
etc,
including temperament and type.

I'm sure there are AKC breeders who are very conscientious, but to
unleash the breed to newcomers who see Cavaliers as a moneymaker
would be devastating.
