Yes, Annette, others have corrected me as well. We don't breed them at 6 to 9 months. I had the vet do sperm samples of a couple of our boys once just to see how soon there was viable sperm. One boy did not have sperm until 12 months and the other was not fertile until 11 months. Of course, we have very hot weather down here in the Deep South so there could have been other factors involved. Just a case of poorly conducted research, not enough control over all variables and too small a sample. All the best, Susan Cochran
