Just in case anyone is interested. We had a little girl in our last litter who had an overshot mouth. Her baby canines had made little holes in the top of her mouth. We had her baby canines removed when she was 15 weeks old in hopes that it might allow her lower jaw to unlock from the upper canines and hopefully "fix" her overshot mouth. We sold her as a pet at a discounted price so that her new owners could apply the extra money to dental care on her adult canines. They brought her back yesterday for boarding for the weekend, and I was very pleased to see the improvement on her little mouth. She is still overshot, but much, much less than when we removed the baby canines. Her adult canines are not yet fully in so there may be time to get a little more improvement even yet. Who knows if they would have changed or improved if we had left the baby canines in place, but there is certainly a significant amount of improvement at this point. Still overshot, but much better.
